Anankie is driven from the name of the Greek goddess Ananke who was the primordial goddess of necessity, compulsion, and inevitability. This winged goddess was chosen as the torchbearer for our brand as we offer the best quality apparel that not only supports the sustainable fashion movement but also ensures that all production is done in facilities that certified for sustainability and eco-friendliness.
We want to offer the Pakistani millennials and gen z to wear clothes that are cruelty-free and ethically made as per international standards as is the need of our time where 10,000 items of clothing being sent to landfill every five minutes. For a sustainable future, we offer clothing that lasts longer than your fast fashion brands. Each article is created using cloth that is weaved from the highest quality yarn and then dyed in-house. The cotton is then finely combed to achieve ultra-soft texture in the fabric and is paired with a ribbed neckline for maximum comfort. An eco-friendly plant is used to process the printed shirts for the ultimate finish. The result is a soft finish, lightweight, and breathable garment with durability that sustains more seasons than what is available in the market.
